Anthony Shaw (Ant)
I’m 42 years old, living in Wales, originally from Twickenham in South West London.
Flying is my absolute passion. I started paramotoring five years ago, and over the last year and a half I’ve expanded into paragliding.
In 2026, I discovered paraglider accuracy competitions, and I’ve well and truly caught the bug. I’m looking forward to competing in many more events in the years ahead, continually improving my skills and learning from some of the best pilots in the sport.
For me, flying isn’t just a hobby, it’s a way of life, and I’m excited to see where the next adventure takes me.
Away from aviation, I’m a Regional Delivery Manager in the construction industry and pride myself on being a motivated, hardworking, and determined person who enjoys taking on new challenges. I’m very much a go-getter and believe that with commitment and perseverance, anything is achievable.
I’m happily married with two children, and when I’m not working or flying, I enjoy fishing, travelling abroad, and spending quality time with my family. If it involves a paraglider wing in any form, whether it’s paramotoring, paragliding, or accuracy flying, you’ll usually find me there.
