There is a lot you can do on your own. Remember at the end of every flight you will land.<\/p>

Start by thinking about it. Don’t just choose a field and land anywhere.\u00a0<\/p>

Do all the things you have been taught.\u00a0Look for obstacles, check the wind direction and choose a marker on the ground. See how close you did.<\/span><\/p>

When you know the landing field, prepare. Make a cloth target (about 30-50cm).\u00a0 You could put a dot in the center. Make it big enough to see from about 20m.\u00a0<\/p>

Be happy to just put your foot on the target. Keep a record of your progress.<\/p>

Eventually, you can enter competitions and test your skill against other pilots. Competitions start locally with pilots you know.\u00a0<\/p>

There is a governing body, the FIA. They have 2 levels of competition, CAT1 and CAT2, and a worldwide ranking system. You enter CAT2 competitions to gain ranking points.\u00a0<\/p>

When you are more skilled you may be invited to represent your Country in a CAT1 competition where you will be competing against the best in the World in far flung exciting venues.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
