You can use any wing you like. There are no restrictions other than you are not allowed to modify the glider.<\/span><\/p>

If we think about what we are trying to achieve in an accuracy competition we want a smooth controlled descent. There is no benefit in having a fast glider, in fact, slow and stable will get you the best scores.\u00a0<\/p>

Dust off that ‘A’ wing in the garage because that’s just what we need. Get it serviced so you are sure to get the best ride on your approaches.<\/p>

Some competitions are tow launch some you should think about getting a tow bridle and a tow endorsement.<\/p>

You don’t need that expensive unstable pod harness. exiting will be a distraction at a critical moment.\u00a0<\/p>

One thing to bear in mind is that you are not allowed to fall over. If you do you will be awarded a maximum score no matter where you land. If the harness touches the ground before the glider that is deemed a fall.<\/p>

Your harness must be fitted with an appropriate reserve and the competition scrutineers may want to see a repack certificate.<\/p>

There are rules about harness certification and of course no modification’s are allowed.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

As long as your helmet is certified there are no restrictions.<\/p>

You may notice that some pilots modify their boots. The governing body have created some rules in order to protect the electronic pads.<\/p>

When should I think about using\u00a0 boot modifications?<\/p>

This is a good question. For most pilots it’s when you are regularly hitting the pad.\u00a0<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>
